The Event Kitchen is a small catering company based in the heart of the Dordogne, we specialise in catering for weddings and events across South West France. We love cooking and also making people feel happy with great food.
Having worked in the catering and tourism industries for over 30 years we know delicious food and service is key to a great event. From the outset, we spend the time to fully understand what you're looking for in a caterer and what your vision is for your special occasion. We carefully answer questions on every detail so that the day flows smoothly and are on hand during the planning process to help with the detail.
Whether you're planning a fairytale wedding, a feast for a special occasion, hosting an intimate meal for friends and family or a picnic by the river we would love to hear from you.

Our menus are designed to give you an insight into dishes that we know, from experience, just work beautifully in terms of flavour combinations and presentation style. Our food reflects casual French dining alongside familiar British food ideas, using the very best of local fresh produce that's on our doorstep. Magret duck breast, foie gras, Bergerac wines, strawberries from La Douze and walnuts all feature throughout our menus and we love utilising and discovering these local food gems.
