The Event Kitchen is based in the North of the Dordogne and specialises in catering for weddings and events across South West France.
We love cooking and providing a memorable feast for you and your guests, we know delicious food and service is key to a great event. With many decades of experience in the catering industry we pride ourselves on providing a high quality, professional and reliable catering service.
We cater for most styles of food, from sharing menus, to individually plated meals. We have a variety of menus for you to choose from. If there are some dishes that are not on our menus" then please do let us know as we will happily recreate your favourite dishes.
Following Covid and the increased demand in our services, for larger events and weddings we now work a couple of talented local caterers that we have worked with for many years. Combining years of expertise and experience, sharing menu ideas and the love of good food and fabulous service. If we're unavailable for your date then we can recommend their services.
From the outset, we spend the time to fully understand what you're looking for in a caterer and what your vision for your special occasion is. We are on hand during the planning process leading up to your special day.
Whether you're planning a fairytale wedding, a feast for a special occasion, hosting an intimate meal for friends and family or a picnic by the river we would love to hear from you.

Our menus are designed to give you an insight into dishes that we know, from experience, just work beautifully in terms of flavour combinations and presentation style. Our food reflects casual French dining alongside familiar British food ideas, using the very best of local fresh produce that's on our doorstep. Magret duck breast, foie gras, Bergerac wines, strawberries from La Douze and walnuts all feature throughout our menus and we love utilising and discovering these local food gems.
